Define an integration strategy based on DD and the business case.
The integration strategy will define which parts of the target organization / business elements will be fully integrated, not integrated at all or where we need to define based on the best of both worlds. In essence we support the acquirer and target in their efforts to define the level of integration which goes beyond just capturing value. In our opinion a human centric, culture including approach is essential and should be considered when creating your strategy. Examples are the Finance department. Should it be fully merged including the ERP systems, or is it sufficient to just provide financial data to enable a monthly closing of the books? What would be the best solution with respect to the IT landscape (network and applications), the people and the value it brings?
